When the Oklahoma "Sooners" settled this area 120 years ago, they took the name "Norman" from Norman's Camp, created by Abner Norman, a surveyor for the US Government who surveyed the area in 1870.

Norman, known as the home of the University of Oklahoma and its 30,000 students, is the largest city in and the county seat of Cleveland County in the U.S. state of Oklahoma, and is part of the greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

The Inn, built in 1994, was custom-designed to create a unique quality and personalized atmosphere, achieving a distinctive ambiance through a combination of elegance and country tradition.
